I was unable to find this option in Renoise so far. Please correct me if I am wrong.
It would be nice to have an option to display a grid as a background of sample editor window (not only at the top and the bottom).
In other words, I’d like to make the Sample editor
look like this (optional)
I am using Renose to record live instruments and it would be just great to have that grid to be able to align samples nicely and put them into the song.
Just to add to your fantastic suggestion, a highlighted line for the pattern length would be useful for samples longer than the pattern.
Or a grid from whatever is selected for the bottom Ruler divisions. No need to restrict it to beats.
I say the bottom ruler as this is the one which is used for the display of selection values in the sample editor already.
Yes you’re right, I forgot to mention that. It should respect the currently enabled grid type (beats,samples, minutes…)
samples grid, i’m not so sure…
I suggested this on another thread; it would certainly be a welcome addition for me
