Hi, I have a bit of a request, I just tried to drag a 128 row track content to a 256 pattern, and while the 128 row track only has entries right at the last few rows of the track, they are inserted “as-is” (entries at 125-127 at 256 row pattern’s 125-127). could there be a switch or a way of dragging so that these would be inserted to the “second repeat” of the 128 rows in the 256 rows, so that “notes-right-at-the-end-of-a-128-row-pattern” become “alias notes right at the end of a 256 row pattern”?
You are suggesting a method for copying some source pattern-track, pasting it into a track which is longer, and then it’s automatically moved/aligned to the bottom?
I can’t see this working with pattern-track aliases, as aliased tracks are always identical, but then you’re calling it “note aliases”, which might be more correct (but still vague in definition). What is an aliased note?
