I found out that they are coming out with a new version of Dreamstation.
I’m not sure what people thought of the 1998 version (very good sound), but this new one looks good and is still in betaversion.
I still wouldn’t even compare this program to Renoise. If you really want to get down, and chop up beats, and create music, Renoise is way more powerful.
This littel thingee was a nice tool. I liked the ability to have all kinds of samples going through the osc. No other software did that at this level. Unfortunately the trackerinterface was poor and they only supported the directsound interface, so I used it like a soundmodule. But its nowadays shipped with cakewalk software so I wonder if that will be available in a single form?!
The new design looks like cakewalk, too.
