Then I saw this in the description: All sounds from original footage. Took a long time to edit!
Then, I thought of Renoise. I thought if a user could use video clips like they do samples, then this would be standard fare.
Did anyone ever get something like this working? I remember reading some threads, but don’t remember if anyone got anything practical going.
It’d be cool if it materialized.
I could be wrong,
but I don’t think anyone has fully rigged something like this,
to the point of ready-set-go for a good number of Renoise musician/visualists.

Nothing like a real video-tracker, but this vj tool is inspired by trackers and let’s you manipulate video through the keyboard:

its easy with pure data sir, really, and you can set it up so a midi track in renoise will trigger vids, use an automation device to control fades and effects etc…and its free.

Gem is the library in pure data that lets it load vids…so look for those tutorials…theres also a zillion help files in puredatas helpfiles that will show you how.
