I don’t understand and I am so sad ! I composed a song with Renoise v2.10 using DSK VSTi Plugins. I saved, opened and played this song without problem !
Now, with Renoise v2.10, v2.50 & v2.60 beta5, I open my song and Renoise detects an error :
“The following plugins could not be found or failed to open : Instrument 04: VST: DSK Music DSK Ethereal PadZ 2”.
I had a go at it. Downloaded the DSK plugs, and it seemed to open just fine. It did open rather slowly, but to be fair it’s a reasonably large project. Played fine too (nice song, btw). When I went to close it, Renoise (2.5) spat out a pair of errors (even after re-saving as a new file, and re-opening):

Seeing as how I just installed the vst’s, I don’t see the cache as being the culprit here. Just like the error log states: likely a bug in the vst.
Please help me before Christmas 2010… I need improve my music with Renoise v2.61. I can send you the music + DSK Plugins (without updates!) so that you can test music and VST(i) Plugins.
I’ve downloaded most plugins through the vendor site (why the hell is he using megaupload?) but i don’t experience errors.
Do note, i’m using a 64-bit windows, so i have full 2GB ram for Renoise available. I think you might be experiencing a RAM issue here.
(Try to crank it up to 4GB)
Edit:I forgot to rescan after adding the mini drumz 2, when i add those, i can get errors.
Looks like you can’t start up too many instances of these plugs.
