Ducking

Another question :)

In the tutorial is described that for ducking effects i have to use a signal follower in the one track and a gainer in the target track. That looks very professional to me. But any other fast ways to do so? Using a compressor?

You can use a compressor instead of a gainer but you’ll still need a signal follower :)
It’s a very easy technique actually, if you tried it once or twice you’ll have no problem setting it up in the future.

ok, thx! I just set up several tracks with this technique and just as you said its not as confusing as the first time. And it gives me the feeling of total ducking control. ;)
