Would like an extra option in the instrument-list (right mouse-click)context menu which does not only remove the unused instruments/samples but also batch-saves them to disk so you can use them later on if needed.
Something called 'dump unused instruments or samples to disk’, clicking this option would bring up a save window where you can select a folder (or maybe use the folder that is your default when rendering a song)
For example I made a lot of time-stretched samples in another program that I’ve imported in a Renoise project, but I’ve only used a couple samples in my song. Deleting all unused samples would free up memory, but I’d like to use these unused sounds in another track. Since I don’t have them in my sample library on the hard-disk anymore, saving each file individually gets tiresome quickly. Batch saving would be helpful.
