Duodecimal (base 12) Row Numbering

Normally I use hex numbering, which makes sense for 4/4 type rhythms. However sometimes I think it might come in handy with a base 12 row numbering. (Especially when working with triplets. Ie, a numbering system that goes like this; 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,10,11,12… Where 10 dd = 12 dec = C hex. Maybe even a selectable hybrid mode where the least significant digit is base 12, and any more siginificant digits are hex. Might come in handy. :)

To me, I’m afraid this sounds totally offputting, confusing and unnecessary. If Hex doesn’t fit the pattern then what’s wrong with the normal 1-10 system (which is default anyway)… 12, 24, 36 etc?

Using different numbering systems isn’t going to make things easier for folks that desire decimal in the first place.
Just select Decimal to show as figures and make your patterns 12 / 24 / 36 or any multiple of 12 rows in size
