Effect Chains

Hey!

I know that by putting DSP/VST effects in different orders, u get different outcomes. But, if you put a, lets say, flanger, after a delay in the “chain” of effects, it still has an effect on the “original” sound, and not only the delay.

How about if we made it possible to ONLY have flanger on the delays of the sound? Or phaser, filter, or any other effect?

Just a suggestion.

did you try send tracks for that?

i mean use non-native-renoise delay to produce echos without dry signal on a send track and then flange it.

and btw, i hope my suggestion about “subtract dry” button for dsp stot will be done in 1.3 and you won’t need any non-native-renoise delays. (taktik didn’t say anything about it to me, but i still hope.)

Dufey Said: Thanks, Zed, i’ll try that :)

yes, that’s exactly what send tracker are for (other than grouping tracks)

don’t forget to keep “mute source” selected

that’s bad advice for dufey’s case, he need keep original sound dry whereas echos should be done with filters.
