I want to know if there is an effect column command to route a note to the send track.
Can this be done?
I haven’t managed to find it specifically mentioned anywhere.
You could always turn on the send meta-effect one line then off the next, or whenever the desired note has finised. Or turn on and off whatever effects are in the send track if it’s not many.
Remember everything in the effects column works on all the notes in that track anyway, so there is no way to isolate a single note from a chord or more complex ensemble.
Other option would be to have a campletely seperate track, copy your DSP chain, paste it into the new track and add the Send Device to this and have notes that you want the extra processes of the send track on here.
you mean a “midi”- note, right?
sry not in renoise (for now)
Oh was I confused. Is he talking about this problem again?
No I don’t mean a midi note. I mean just a regular note that plays a sample or vst instrument.
I’m talking about an effect command that would route that note (for the duration of the note) to a send track.
Imagine that track 1 is playing a sequence of notes. I want to route one single note in the series momentarily to a completely different set of effects.
I’m gathering that it’s not possible at this point, and/or maybe what I am asking would be better accomplished through alternative means.
ah! a bit modularity (track- related)
