2 ways… you can gradually increase/decrease the volume of the sample in the volume column, or you can “draw” it with the volume envelope (in the automation tab)
in addition:
0CXX - set trackvolume (like dj io said - increase/decrease via ctrl + i )
the volume envelope in the instrument tab - draw the needed env., trigger yr sample and go with “ghostnotes”
or for single sample trigger, 9X/AX in vol. coloumn - increase/decrease the vol. by x ticks
