Live recording:

Destructive recording. So that you can live record a melody over and over on the same looping patterns until it sits. Something I miss almost always.

Zoom in/out in patterns.

Being able to have a greater overview.

Or also zoom in.

Only view non muted or non X tracks.

Similar to only viewing currently selected track.

Trigger 2 or more vsti synths.

Import patterns/song.

Ability to have several songs open in the pattern matrix. To be sble to copy/paste tracks/patterns from different songs into one master song.

Less important:

Color on the track scopes.

Quickly edit velocity/volume value with mouse.

A bit more obvious highlight in the pattern matrix.

Other than that and a pianoroll Renoise it pretty much perfect.

That’s brilliant! ill have to use that.Still i wish it was baked into Renoise,weird how it was removed.

Unfortunately when i run the delete unused samples option,it hangs then shows a dialog box asking me if i want to wait or terminate the script,i waited over 20 times and it didn’t complete so i had to terminate it.

interesting, can you send me the xrns that exhibits this behaviour? i can then try to bugfix it. for me, there’s never a waiting period and it’s fast.

ok i’m doing heavy optimizations to delete unused instruments/samples. it should be considerably faster soon. check out the new build from github

it’s between 16x and 400x improvement.
