Not sure if this is new news but I got a Native Instruments e-mail today announcing a free Kore player. I’m downloading now but its pretty slow.

Will let you know if its any good once I get it downloaded. It comes with a 300mb soundpack but it looks like they’re giving this away to encourage people to buy more soundpacks for it.

Download timed out at 40mb and then when I tried again it kept sending me to a blank page. I guess too many people were going at it. I’ll try again later on tonight.
I just got it and I’m having a lot of fun with it. It works phenomenal with my EMU Xboard, I have complete control of ever mod for every patch. Thanks for the link

i cant hear any sound in this,it doesent matter what audio driver or what input/output i choose,so i guess im just gonna try and rip the samples and then delete it
You have to drag the desired sound to one of the 8 slots or double click one sound to load it to slot 1. otherwise there is no sound loaded.
I finally got around to downloading this today and from what I’ve seen so far its a very nice sounding plugin, well worth the trouble. It’s working great with Renoise, I’ve got 4 versions of it running on 4 different tracks and its not too bad on the CPU.
You could compose some very nice sounding complete tracks just using this one plugin. Not bad for free.
yes i got it working,there is some interesting sounds in there,i will use this from time to time
