i think cubic or linear or none are the default interpolation methods when renoise is in slave mode (same for real time and render)…
i suggest a sinc mode to use only when render with host, just as we do inside renoise when stand alone, but same in rewire slave mode, i can imagine this will take hours too, but i 'm ready to wait…
The host on the other side of the wire may not be interested in sending data at fluctuating speeds which renoise does use to buffer stuff for offline rendering with plugins and internal instruments.
So this will likely never work.
