I would like to have a stop sample command.

like 0x00 stops the currently playing sample and 0x01 resumes play.
I am working with vocals atm and I would like to have that thing so its easier to stretch phrases.

(like when she sings “I love you so my he-e-ro” I can make her go “I love you so … (2 bars later) my he-e-ro”)

you can already do this by combining the “stop sample after x ticks” command (Fx in volume column) and offset command (09xy in the effectcolumn).

yes, but the 0900 command is way to coarse for longer samples and is only usable if the sample is really in sync (like 2 or 4 or 8 bars)
