Global "chord mode" button

Please, return global “Chord mode” button. I prefer use VSTi, and when i record mono bass for example, renoise add new columns on track coz i release previous note not exactly as the new start. In this case i not need to insert “note off”, but just new note “note on” in ONE column.

I think you need to press the ‘mono’ button now, top right of plugin tab of the instrument editor.
