Good music distributors?

What specifically is wrong with ISRC?

Fast Distribution for all streaming services.
You dont need to share any track in soundcloud or “soundcloud go” services for the public.

Distribution is a different section and behind everything.

i use 2 years now and i only have problems where old labels dodnt want to remove releases from stores.

They update the whole platform in this month.
i use DigDis too. (only for bandcamp and junodownload) they get your money after sellings.
Soundcloud didn’t do that way, just pay for months and thats all!

Every penny is go to the artists…

All other distributors want to pay every change and takedown or editing.

On thing i didnt like SC Distro.:
You cant change anything after release.

if i pay 30EUR for digdis i can fix Artist name or so on. but i dont want to pay for this…

what do you mean ?

i have thousand of euros payed for me , when someone steal my music and i use ISRC codes to proof i am the right holder!

ISRC is good.!

Really learnt something today because I never know SoundCloud can be used for distributing music. I thought It was just a platform for only sharing music or build connections between artists.

Perhaps making money is not my primary goal in making music but for expressing my feeling or just to have fun, so this kinda explains why I don’t seem to have the benefits on the platform, but your explanation makes sense because if you have a lot of sales, a constant monthly payments over a plan is definitely cost less than taken a portions of your sales which makes SoundCloud a better option in this regard.

ISRC codes are given free at CDBABY and they are used to identify and track music regarding for example paying you royalties. Eh!?

Who’s trolling??

I like how you nowadays need to be an informatics specialist, entertainer, manager, 24/7-supporter, ecosystem analyst and webpage coder to finally get some pennies back for your music :+1:

Maybe it is more sane to boycott Spotify completely? I am not too much into the topic though…

I mean, except your friends and family, most likely nobody will ever find you on Spotify while searching for genre, style, playlists etc., as far as I understand the current system. Your friends also simply could play it in the bandcamp app then or so.

Boycott Spotify. Low Income, ISRC “Smith”-psychiatry “compliance”. Not support of Gay as it should be etc.

Daniel Ek tries to get away with former endevaours such as Pirate Bay. Meaning he does not support any business really at all, just piracy as Spotify instead.

“oh okay”
