It does not seem to have an effect when i drag the sliders. At least not with tickspeed 3. Would be nice to have though, so you don’t need to use the old Fxxx command method that confuses the bpm settings from VST’s.

I agree, the groove is pretty useless.
I think it was supposed to be rewritten for the new audio engine?
yes, whats up with that, i dont understand it either , the groove-settings.
could someone explain this to me?
thanx,

As far as I noticed it is only working ok on speed 6. If you put all the sliders on 33% you will hear that it will ‘swing’. Basicly every slider is for one beat tick so every 4 bars. In order to hear the effect clearly you fill up track with a hihat for example.
Hmmz… They work on all speeds, however, if you are going to place notes on every other row, you miss the groove-line.
That’s why it’s not working.
But if you would set the BPM to 40 and speed to 2 and add a note on every line (and actually turn on the groove engine clicking the checkbox in the upperleft corner of it’s panel) you’ll notice it works allright.
The logic was not set that the groove settings would adjust the row aspect either.
It would be nice to have some kind of setting to adjust the main and sub-hit just like the metronome can be set in this way.
