How do delete (unused) patterns?

I cannot figure out how to simply delete pattern from my song. Deleting from the sequencer only deletes the sequencer reference; it doesn’t delete the pattern. If I recall, there used to be a “Delete Unused Patterns” option but I don’t see it anymore. No matter what I do, I can always access old patterns by scrolling to them.

It’s not a huge deal normally, except after forking some songs many times, there are hundreds of old patterns hanging around I cannot delete.

It causes performance problems, for example inserting a new instrument takes 10 seconds. Or whole-song operations take forever as well. Not to mention the file is just unnecessarily bloated.

Main Menu > Edit > Delete Unused Patterns

Well that’s embarrassing. Why isn’t it in the context menu with all the other pattern-related functions? Thank you.

I dunno. I do think if it was in the right clicks, there is too much of a chance to accidentally click it and not realize it. Later, wondering why did renoise eat all my variations…
