[solved] How do i record "Virtual Keyboard PitchBend" to pattern editor?

hi i’ve set the virtual keyboard pitchbend to control the sample’s pitch.
how do i record output from virtual keyboard pitchbend (or mod) to pattern editor?

also, i’ve enabled the macro knobs at the top of the instrument details, but they also don’t seem to record anything to pattern editor.

what am i missing here?
