How To Load A Renoise 2.8.2 Song Into Old Renoise 2.7.2

Is there a quick and simple way to load a song into an old stable version of Renoise? I started something in 2.8.2 b8 which i like, but now i cannot open the renoise file in 2.7.2 to continue my work, as the new version seems to only work in 64-bit mode as a ReWire slave to logic, but Logic doesn’t work properly in 64-bit mode for me

No, it’s not possible.

There are structural changes between XRNS for each new update.

New versions can open old files.

Old versions can not open new files.

Thank you guys, i can open and load the file in both 32-bit and 64-bit. The actual problem however was that my ReWire connection to Logic 9 did not work in both new versions of 2.8.0 b8. As it was working in Renoise 2.7, i tried opening the files there and hence the question came up.

However, taktik has already sent me a hint how it might be working. In the case my ReWire is working again, there is no need to open the new songs in old 2.7 Renoise anymore.

What was Taktik’s hint to get Rewire working again on 2.8? I’m so stuck with my mod being upgraded to 2.8 and i need to rewire it into Ableton
