How to record

I just changed to win 7 64 bit and therefore updated to renoise 2.8.2. Now i tried to record, and i just can’t do it because i can not choose an input in the recorder, there is nothing to choose from. I think that was different in my renoise 2.7.

If i go to the preferences, the device type is set to ASIO (Edirol UA-101), but i can not select input and output. If i change to DirectSound, then i can select input and output device. Is that how it should be???

Found it! :rolleyes:

In the preferences, the option “Limit to stereo in/out” was checked. If unchecked i can select the correct line-in in the record dialog box.
