how to set up random initial pitch for sample?

I’d like to set up some of my drum hits so that they play a slightly different pitch each time it plays but I’m finding it a bit more difficult that I thought. I tried with an lfo in the pitch section of the modulation section but the lfo pitch affects the whole sample so if the lfo moves in the middle of the drum hit the pitch of the decay is different from the attack.

So how can I make it only affect the initial pitch rather than the whole sample?

Use a random LFO with the frequency set to the lowest possible value.

When using the lowest possible frequency of 0.00195 Hz, the LFO will reset twice every 8.5 minutes or so.

When using 1024 beats, well, that’s of course dependent on your song tempo, but it’s usually a pretty damn long time

Basically, for drum hits and other short sounds, the LFO will never reset before your sample ends.

That’s perfect thank you, I knew it would be something simple that I was overlooking.
