How to use MIDI FX plugins

Hello,

I am trying to apply a velocity filter to block certain notes from getting through when using a midi controller in Renoise. I add the FX to a track and open it as an alias in the plugin view but am seeing no change happening. Is this possible to do in Renoise? Thank you for your help,

Not possible, midi instruments only

Perhaps through phrase scripts you can emulate the wanted behaviour?

Thanks good to know. Iā€™m not too knowledgeable on phrase scripting as of yet. I will see about a hardware solution.
