Yeah, she’s becoming quite the beauty, ain’t she? Just wanted the original poster to know that we’ve all been spending some long nights with her. And, you know - no matter how early you think you are and how kinky stuff you try, chances are that the alphas “been there and done that”, much before she turned 1.8… It’s just something we normal guys have to live with.

Well my other sequencers are quite jealous. I’m spending a lot of time getting to know here more. Just dumped reason and logic. dp may be on here way out also.

Been using 1.8 heavily and am lovin’ it. With the addition of audio recording and line-in this is more and more becoming the program i use, even sans tracking for just general audio mulching pleasure…
Is anyone actually still using 1.5 now???
Uninstalled it as soon as I saw the Mixer button, never looked back 
I keep all old versions installed as their playback behaviors are all different. If I’ve got an old demo I need to restore I check how it plays in the old version, and then begin the migration into the latest version. I’ve got versions going back to 1.2
However, this will be less necessary from now on: I’ve recently converted ALL my renoise WIP demos to XRNS, well over 50 odd. And Renoise’s playback will be a lot more ‘standard’ from now on, so old versions will become nothing but nostalgia pieces. Ahh remember 2002?
got 1.8, 1.5 installed here, for the same reasons as Foo?
I’m using 1.8 now for all new productions and even live performances.
1.5 is still installed also to compare playback.
but also to grasp back to the original behavour of the program.
this saved me from posting a lot of look-a-like bugs.
I like uneasiness in my life, so I uninstalled 1.5 as soon as 1.8 could run standalone and not an update.
It feels more stable than Cubase ever did.
Yeah, all the 1.8 betas and RC’s have been running super smooth for me, never had any problems. I’ve had far more problems with other audio software than I’ve ever had with renoise.
nice to read these comments regarding 1.8 stableness, since we have put a big effort during alpha stage to come out with an already acceptable level of stability.
Alpha0 was quite buggy, but taktik was really great in not loosing the track during our stressing bug report phase.

What The Funk, who stole those lines in the e’s… I used some .AI files I’ve downloaded earlier from here somewhere for reference, and those still had the e-lines left? Anyway, yes, my intent was to make it readable, instead of gettin’ all f’n batsh*t loco.
