I’m praying that this is something that can be remedied through Renoise and I won’t have to go to a million other forums for the answer
So… I love renoise’s form of arrangement. I love FLStudio’s arpeg features, and I love Reason’s soundbanks. So I load FLStudio via VST and then through FLStudio I run Reason with Rewire. The setup is really complicated, but it works ( on a limited scale ). So far I can only get 1 sound bank out Reason at a time, in order to get another I would have to run FLStudio as another instrument. It doesn’t work like that unfortunately
So I’ll lay down what I understand
Channel 2 has function of the first instrument ( The Violin ) added, because when you add another MIDI OUT in FL Studio it’ll push the first instrument up a number. The Cello which is assigned to Channel 1 won’t play anything
On the top left underneath file you’ll notice that the Cello is confirmed as patch 1. You’re probably wondering why it says Channel 3 on the right on the Cello . Channel 3 is the out from Reason which becomes channel 1 when being used on Renoise
I’ve been going through and making all sorts of switches of channels between Renoise and FL Studio to get a 2nd sound of it Reason. Both FL Studio and Reason recognize that there is a MIDI signal going to the banks. No sound is being generated though.
I’m completely exhausted and am struggling to explain things clearly. If anyone has additional questions, feel free. I am just hoping that someone can help
