I just realised a cool coincidence…
the hex value “FF” that we use in trackers is the maximum value, so in the case of volume, it means “very loud” right?
In classical music notation, the word “Fortissimo” means “very loud”, and is also notated with the symbol “ff” (I don’t know how to do it in italics).
Cool huh.
Am I the only one not to notice this sooner?
Or am I the first?
