I Really Want To Register!

Heck, I do have the money on my bank account and I really want to register.

So I went to the bank (Osuuspankki) and the woman behind the desk did not seem to realize what was going on. She said that if I want to send the cheque to Atlantic Coast it would cost about 10 extra euros for me(?). WTF?

Is there any Finlander here having already got his own copy of this golden piece of code. What is the best way to get Renoise, how did you purchase it? I don’t have Visa (and I’ll never have one).

My friend wants to register as well, but the problem is that he does not have an Internet connection (yes, some people do have a thing called life). So is it possible to register 2 Renoise licenses at the same time?

Is it possible to transfer the money directly via Internet (for example)?

Regards,

Jotrsu

Post scriptum, I’d like to enjoy my Renoise on Linux platform…

Can one trust in Paypal?

If it really works, I’ll do it to today.

I used paypal :)

It only takes a day or two to process the moneytransfer to your paypal account.

"It only takes a day or two to process the moneytransfer to your paypal account. "

How does this (exactly) work? PayPal has got a quite confusing site; I have to admit that I haven’t found any instructions to process moneytransfer to my paypal account from my bank account. Maybe it’s because of my poor English skills.

I had to verify my paypal account with a : (yes sorry) valid creditcard
Anyone else could transfer money without ever having to use a creditcard verification?

mhh, I made my paypal account some years ago and did quite some transactions with it, and I am very happy. mostly I paid donations to soulseek or some programmers(shareware-proggies), I paid my renoise with it, and some other stuff from business-websites.

it works like a real bank-account, you just have to transfer money to the paypal account and you can also withdraw it.
the point is, I am from germany and when I put money on that account I send it to an account of the american bank here in germany, takes 2 days, all is well … dunno how that is in finland.

and, I never had to validate something with a visa card or something (I dont have one), but when I made that account the page said that I need validation only for money-transfers over 250$, and I never spent that much somewhere (dont have that either, hehe).

paypal may be slow but its reliable and it can be trusted, so use it :P

Paypal is still not available in Poland :(.

Lucky I could use my friend’s help.

Do you have access to your bank account thru internet?

Because here in sweden if you got foreningssparbanken you don’t need a VISA.
They have a internet service they call ecard, its a internet card that generates a VISA/Mastercard number that can be used for shopping online, but is acctually connected to a maestrocard.
So you don’t have to have a real visa card to shop online.

Check with your bank if they offer something similar.

Yes I do have Internet access to my bank account.

I did visit a few Finnish forums, reading threads about paypal, and I found out that I should switch to other bank if I wanted to use paypal. I do have Visa Electron card, but in the wrong bank.

I’ll call to my bank and ask how the things really are… and I will say them that if I can’t pay my Renoise I will immediately change the bank. Renoise is more important than the name of my bank. ;)

Damn, this is difficult.

Why don’t you transfer money from your bank to the account with the Electron card and then pay with that?

Yes, that is the problem. The transfer does not work with Osuuspankki’s Electron, yet it works in Nordea and Sampo. I’m still waiting a call from the bank (they did not know anything, but promised to call later).

I got a phone call from my bank. I have to switch the bank. That’s the only way to use paypal.

Bloody Renoise:)

Thread closed.

yes you can trust paypal, but not some other people faking they’re from paypal and send you e-mails claiming that that you have to update your account in order for it to still be available.
got one once and it really looked real. so went in typed my accountname, password… well, till they wanted info about my pin number and stuff about my bank account. looked up on the adress bar: “http://111.333.22.4.4444.4/someshitdontknowanymore.com.blabla
SHIT! the only thing they got submitted was name & password, but… (changed it the same second i closed the damn site.)

Wow… those frauds are still operating? I reported he fraud to paypal.com.
They seem to have some hunting-dogs that deal with such kind of crooks.

yes. the last one i got is i think not longer than 3 weeks ago… :(

I just printed out the order page, took it to a bank, explained the situation and the payment was done correctly.
It took less then a week, and I got a mail with my keycode :)
