Sounds great at my speakers. Chilling dance sound without going cheesy. This could be a good thing in some space shooter app.
I could even imagine bringing this into acid house, turning up the filters before the end.
very interesting tune. In the sense of the music form - it is a bit ‘boring’ or ‘flat’ without any culmination… Otherwise it’s a great tune!!

It was made for a competition where the task was to use only TR606 percussion sounds and acid was not allowed

Nice you put your own characteristics and i especially liked the work you ve done on the drums.Didnt know of the track but i went and listened to the original just to compare it with yours.The mix could be better though but i liked the outcome

I’ve inadvertently started doing a sort of “freewriting” exercise lately. Just keep building a 4-bar loop until I like it, then use only that pattern and muting in the pattern matrix to make a short little sketch track. I call them scraps. Scrappy lil tracks.

An artist I like released a collection of free VST3 a few days ago, and Renoise is the only VST3 host I really use, so I figured I’d make a test song with it. Pretty short song cuz I don’t really do that kinda rave music those plugins are meant for, so i didn’t want my song to wear out its welcome. Check out her plugins they’re very neato.

I like the colorful gui of these plugins I may check them out but they were made using synthedit so the audio quality must be bad,but you never know I might like them will see.Thanks for posting and the track was quite good

What about song - i think it need some ear-catching melody/harmonics cus it sounds slightly “flat”.
