I would like to hear your music made with Renoise or other Daws

Possibly, but it’s still strange to get a blue screen right after clicking on something, don’t you think?
I don’t say it’s because of you, I just think it’s strange and I don’t need to repeat it.

That’s right, but you’re a Renoiser at least, which makes it a little bit easier. :wink:

Ok, here are my thoughts:
Compared to the first version it seems to be stronger, everything is more in front. It’s a little bit weak in terms of the low ends and a little bit too strong in terms of the mids. You should soften the lead, too. And the “keys” starting at 1:45 are too loud. When the lead and the “keys” are playing at the same time the rest of the song is moving in the background. You can also tell by the waveform. And you could improve the overall sound by using filters on your single tracks to clear out some disturbing frequencies. If you check the mix in mono you’ll see what’s up. I think if you check your volume balance again you will achieve a much better result.

Thank you willy dinglefinger, i have been trying to focus a bit more on the mix lately and i like to think i’m getting better at it, even though i still have a way to go. :slight_smile:

great stuff ! arrangement and transitions are a bit unconventional (e.g. @1:48) but hey, why not ! :slight_smile:

Hi! Check out my last work. All the songs were recorded/produced with Renoise, with some final mixing with Mixbus. Great software!

@strobotone Yeah, I like this funky 80’ taste! We need that upbeat mood for sure! :slight_smile:

@jspreis Welcome! Interresting work, with lots of sounds and tensions, it’s like falling into the darkness and searching how to get out there…
I’ve seen you’ve took a pict from a Rainer Werner Fassbinder film, didn’t seens this one, but I remember another one I’ve seen, strong filmmaker!

@stoiximan Pleasant track with flowing melody, lyrics could add something more too.
Merry Christmas! :evergreen_tree::sparkles:

Heroic? No. But yes, really catchy. I liove the composition and instrumentation, all the melodies, especially the lead starting at 1:49. Great “Ohrwurm”! Where can I get this stuff? This needs to be played in the car while driving. Nice 80s vibe, too. There’s some energy, dude. Well done.

Nice, sounds like a demotune. Mixing-wise it’s one of your best works I think. I just miss the christmas feeling if this is meant to be a christmas tune, You could add some sleigh bells or similar stuff. And don’t get too busy with singing. There are rumors that you wanted to sing on several tunes, which never happened. :wink:
