love the textures and the vibe overall, the crazy rhythmic changes are not my cup of tea (matter of personal taste, ofc). well done!

downloaded Live after several years off and made loop in 15 minutes

all was recorded using retro feature, and bass and that filtered melody is coming from the kick, just looped part of it

“Vain yksi askel ikuisuuteen”, made today with Reaper.

6 minutes long slow, sad and repeating ambient …

lovely tune. could do with some variation. maybe some slow filter sweeps, or playing with the stereo image/surround on different elements throughout the track. Nice work. Would be great as a film score element.
Some ethereal, washed-out (female?) vocals would elevate it, too

Could see that happening later… and nice suggestions, too…

The song is about getting caught in a loop before taking that last step into eternity… (to do it or not) the monotony was deliberate. But I’ll think about adding some variation. :+1:

Another one of those weird compositions of mine. It always ends up completely different than what i had in mind, but that’s part of the fun. It’s the regular rock/chiptune/experimental/synthporn/techno type music, in case you wonder what kind of genre it is.

Hmmm… is it just me or did this end up a bit too loud?

In my headphones it doesn’t sound too loud but I will have to check later on my monitors to be sure.I liked the track and it didn’t feel weird at all.

Doesn’t seem too loud on my headphones, sounds awesome! Not too loud on my phone speakers too, doesn’t distort or anything

Nice experimental music style. Only the lead appearing at 2:24 might be too loud, IMO. Or too peaky. And too dry maybe?

Some more jittery idm for the weekend:

Coddy: Thanks! I’ve been using a lot more time signature changes lately, hopefully I’m not overdoing it.

Cursed: I like some nice brooding ambient. This type of music makes me nostalgic for times I’m not sure existed.

Here’s another one I made on my Akai MPC One, the two ‘chippy’ leads in the song were composed in Renoise Free Music Archive - Origami Repetika - Saxophonian March

Hi there,

I just got my violin back from the luthier and after some adjustments and a new bow, it’s really nice to play so I can’t help myself…
I made this disco/house track for fun, I’m pretty happy with the result, there are some pretty nice and funky chord progressions.

Have a nice day !
