I made some rap/trap beat lately, and I managed to find a nice topline on looperman so… This is a good mix exercise, even if I’m not that fan of this style !

Btw I find the mix too gentle/tidy… I’ll probably give a try to add some fury (and the snare is a way to push this line !)

very cool idea, i would add more percussion/shakers/hats or smth like that to make it sound fuller maybe, but the bass line is pretty cool, keep that up!

Thanks, man :slight_smile: I’m trying to make more groovey music these days, as opposed to the hardcore metal I made before.

Here is a song from my old project, released in 2020. Also made in Renoise, then the drums were removed and recorded in a studio, and it also features live kalimba, guitar and xylophone.

My new work! A kind of a soundtrack for this J.G. Ballard book, “the drowned world”. Quite a lot of Renoise involved, especially with drums, but mostly Reaper. Great softwares. I hope someone will enjoy it!
