I would like to hear your music made with Renoise or other Daws

Thanks for the feedback!

I had quite a few listeners on Hanz Meyzer, but at one point I deleted all tracks… Then later I realized how stupid that was, so I reuploaded then most of KVR OSC songs at least. So this seems to be my KVR OSC account for now. Do the drums sound punchier here:

Yes, through speakers it’s a little bit punchier now. Through headphones it’s quite the same, you really need to listen carefully if you want to recognize a difference. I probably would push the frequencies at 1000 Hz a tad more. But don’t get me wrong, it’s already good.

So the same story like your “FFX Laboratory” account? And there’s even a third account called “Hanz Meyzer Lab”. If you would combine all these accounts into one, I’m sure you’d get quite a few listeners again. What I’m not sure about is if you would like to get a few listeners again.

something i wrote the other day.

Yes, very beautiful and unique track. What about an album? I would buy and recommend it  Lot of people will love this sound.

Thanks to the both of you!
I’d really love to release an album. The combination of constantly tinkering with many different tunes of entirely different genres within a tiny time budget does not help since years.
So everything takes ages here to finish.

Thanks again for your feedback

Maybe exactly this mixture would make it so interesting. At least I can hear your specific composition and mixing style in most of your “ambient” / “relaxing” songs. How boring is an album with a constant style, or maybe even soundset, it will bore one after 3 songs already…

My most recent one. Made it in my mpc for a beat challenge

An old tune I made in FL Studio using Animal Crossing soundfonts

There’s only one reason I keep going back to FL, and that’s the virtual keyboard. It makes it easy for people with subpar music theory to bash out some decent sounding melodies. Just pick a scale and the keyboard makes it near impossible to play a wrong note. It’s even great for forming chords. Definitely something for my Renoise wishlist xD

do you ever use the scale function in renoise? it does something similar, I’d wager… never used FL tho

Sadly this doesn’t appear to carry over into third-party tools.

Ah, I barely use vsts, didn’t know it didn’t work for them. A good suggestion for future updates, perhaps

Oh sorry, no I meant Renoise tools (the lua scripts). Works fine with VSTs from what I tested

I see. what tool are you trying to force to a scale? I can’t think of any off the top of my head that generate sound beyond the waveform level

Simple Piano Roll, though I think the problem may just lie with the tool itself and nothing to do with Renoise. I think it may be playing the right note, but highlighting the incorrect one.

This was not even made in a DAW. I was just fiddling around with embers.
