We WOULD BE lucky if we would have had todayās technology 30 years ago when we had more than enough time and inspiration to create music within the greatest decade in terms of electronic music (and everything else, too). Itās nice to have this technology nowadays even if itās way too late, but it doesnāt compensate the current lack of time to take full advantage of it and certainly not the fact that problems increase permanently and hence creativity decreases, especially in comparison to back then when we were young and our minds were fresh. Imagine having this technology as a teenager in a world thatās not that lousy like today.

Iām afraid so. I really never get used to hearing my own voice. 
I did and as someone who was born in the late 70s I am, but especially as a young man living in a self-destructive clown country you have to face the effects of a pathetic world ruled by moronic criminals.
Youāre used to hear your own voice including bone conduction, so just imagine your voice with less low ends in a slightly higher tone and youāre facing the truth. But there are effects to change your voice in a way that fits to your song.

Well i tried to do just that and it definately fits better than dry vocals, but there are probably tricks i donāt know about.
The acoustics in the room i record is far from great, so itās a bit hard to make it sound good.
Older, rather noisy breakbeat track from 2009, fixed to be loaded in the current Renoise again and also did a few touch-ups while at it. My first actual remix for another artist.

Hey, thanks! I donāt know Alter Ego yet, Iāve been using the @martblek tools to design the sounds. Very OPL3 FM/PM. I did approach Mille Plateaux due to fascination with their sound since 2001ās Clicks_+_Cuts (volume 2?). Love it!

Hereās a moody idm thing. Playing with 90s sample CDs, plus some found sounds (a bell made from a soda can, a shaker made from a can of sesame seeds) and shortwave radio voices

I was thinking of such things like pitch, filters (HP!), reverb and else. And as an Electro lover of course of voice changers of any kind, for example a vocoder.
I assume you deserve it.
And I guess you would like Decoding The Hacker Myth by Alter Ego. This is my favorite from that album, but there are also more experimental songs. It was released 1996 on Harthouse Records, which is another label from my hometown. But I know Mille Plateaux not only because itās based in my hometown, I probably know it because of their Electronic and Techno stuff in the 90s just like Cristian Vogel, who I was listening to from time to time.

Ah, some Chillwave seemingly done within a couple of hours. Nice work. The mix is not too bad, it just sounds a bit muffled. I would suggest to get rid of the dirt and to add some crisp. But maybe itās already good if you just get rid of the dirt.

I agree, i spend couple of more hours trying to correct the mix and i think i fixed most of the junk. Also used Ozone 9 and their master assistant to also remove some junk from the mix.
