I would like to hear your music made with Renoise or other Daws

Must be some very clever cats! :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks. Not so sure about the progress though, imo it goes a bit back and forth.
My main struggle is mixing. I think i will have to start using reference tracks, i actually just bought MCompare for this purpose. Now i just need to find some tracks that fits what i’m aiming for…

Maybe, i had some wild things going on with the hats to start with, but i ended up changing them right before i rendered. I may have forgotten to pan the hats track…there’s some delay, but it has a bandpass filter in mid area.
I think there are more things that could be improved in the mix though, it seems it kinda starts with more energy than it ends with…and the sounds sometimes seem to fight with each other.

99% native renoise synthesis and dsp of course

I just wrapped up an album with my online friend. It is about 50/50 Reaper and Renoise.

hey merry Xmas to you too !! . tbh was mostly browsing the forums listening the music people are making with renoise . still doing visuals all the time. i haven’t actually made any new music in the past 3 years :frowning: im cooking up the possibility of collaborating with more artist by creating my own label but i still haven’t defined any solid direction for it .

im glad that you are still making music with renoise  . have a great weekend and happy new year

At least you are fine!

no time or no inspiration? Maybe we can make a track again in the future

yeah it was like a shift in me haha i was not happy with the music i was making up to that point and i felt i already devoted a huge chunk of my life to mess around in DAW’s and make music in general . so i decided to learn something new to keep my mental health in check .

I am of two minds with this jam. It takes a bit too long to get going. Skip to 1m30s if you feel so inclined. And it probably could have used another layer of interest. That said, there is also something I really like about parts of this. It’s kind of quiet and introverted. Pretty dream-like. Almost venturing towards ambient, almost.

Yesterday we lost one of the greatest singers here in Greece and one of the main reasons I am into music. Goodbye Vasili until we meet again!!

Here’s some depressive doom rock to enlighten the mood. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh yes TheBellows, this is NICE!! :metal:
The overall sound has a peculiar flavor but I like it. Neat stuff!

@lilith That sounds nicely unstable.I like the colour of this track. Is good stuff!

@YardTosho Rabit Dance didn’t do much for me. But Kill Sexploitation has a very cool sound. Nice & crunchy. Tasty!

@Agentslimepunk Your sound design is jaw dropping. So many nice, harsh sounds doing nifty things. Scatter Factor sounds like a schizoid super computer. And Gravity Inverter is an apt name for that tune. Cool stuff!

@H3ADL3SS You’ve got some shock& awe kind of sounds on the album. I’m about halfway through. Definitely has some nice stuff on it.

@slujr as always the sound design is impressive. Musically I couldn’t really step through the membrane to connect with it. Still an enjoyable ride though the abstract sonic landscapes. The StarFox’ frog playing with a vocoder towards the end is very cool though.
