I’m still 300 posts away from catching up on this thread so I don’t know if you got something sorted here :grinning:

But - if you or @TNT or anyone else struggle with synthesised guitars on your tracks and would rather some real guitar loops, feel free to give me a wee heads up :slight_smile:

I’m not shit-hot or anything and I despise generic solos in pentatonic scales and what not, but I can play and I love playing and I’d be dead happy to provide loops / chords / notes / whatever.

Lately I’ve neglected Renoise and have just been hammering out riffs in Reaper nightly after putting my daughter to bed. Been playing my Yamaha MSG (tuned in drop B, has a A LittleThunder pickup installed on the bridge too) and my Danelectro baritone (tuned in A standard) for like Nu Metal / Thrash / Industrial type ideas (which I’ll be sure to post here when done of course).

Anyway aye if you or anyone want some guitar riffs / loops / samples or anything, just shout me :slight_smile: I’d probably really enjoy it.

Here’s an older one. Played with some old synths and did some sequencing in Renoise then freestyled cajon (and at the end of the song a guitar) over the top of it.

Thanks, Dan! I’ve always wanted to work with a guitarist to create a (Synthwave) song together, maybe we can manage this someday in the future. I don’t struggle in creating strums in general, but I’m struggling in creating low, aggressive strums and proper guitar solos including “guitar effects”. I think the VST is quite nice, but the possibilities are truly limited. A real guitar is superior for sure. One can achieve the best result by recording live, just the way you did in your song “virus”.
