Guessing I am missing something simple, but I cannot figure out how to defeat pitch tracking for a sample in a layer. For example, you have a particular transient or drone tone you wish to play at exactly the same pitch every time you hit a key (any key) while the rest of the layers follow the keyboard as normal.
There’s no obvious way of doing this (yet), but you can enable “beat sync” for a sample to fix it to a specific pitch. Pitch modulation still works for beat synced samples, so you can finetune or modulate the pitch there too. Downside is that the pitch then changes with the song’s tempo.
+1, this would be a great feature for like, breath sounds in wind instruments and so forth.
Would be good from drums too.
