In the content mask section of the advanced edit you can set what will be modified, if you only select volume, the other options shouldn’t get modified.

and about my previous reply, you can also work outside of the advanced editor to granular select just the volume column for example, holding alt while mouse pressing in the correct column, then use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+i when you have set the limits to interpolate the values;
