In the Instrument Editor, it would be nice if I could click on the keyboard with my left mouse button (to play notes) and map instruments with my right button.
Right now, both buttons map samples. A newbie (or me, possibly sober) will want to click all over that keyboard to play notes, realizing too late that he’s just ruined a well defined instrument.
I’ve already suggested this a while ago: in my opinion, left button should move the sample selection to the number indicated on the key, while right button should change the associated sample
So long as I can click on that piano and it “plays music” without changing anything, I agree.
