Just a simple one here - But I was trying to overlay bass drums earlier and found I had to keep going back and forth with Soundforge to invert the 909’s, as they were causing phasing problem and 'ting.
Likewise if anyone’s ever had problems trying to get a bass drum to sit well with certain bass sounds/notes - Try inverting it - Sometimes it’s just a case of phase cancellation.
