I just found out this weird behaviour (I have complained in the past about stuff with duplicate patterns / clip aliases but this is a real bug imo)
Steps
Select all patterns in seq, right click, Organize=>Join.
Expected result
proper merge
Instead you get
merge of [0][0][0][0]
Is it embarrassing i didn’t know how to do that with the later versions? But then again I never really repeat patterns personally…
Anyway bug confirmed! Seems to happen whenever you have the same pattern more than once but symptoms can vary. EG if your pattern is [0][1][0][2] then the join seems to be [0101] rather than [0102]. I think a repeated pattern does have to be the first in the selection though…
