I have made this little toy which allows one to play with samples on the browser, kind of granular-synth style (but not quite for obvious reasons), simply using javascript and a decent browser (chrome/firefox). And since renoise users definitely know about playing with samples, I thought I might share it here and see what you think of it! 
As a side note I have used samples from freesound. But you can add you favourite ones (it’s stored locally!).
