Just Got Kore 2...

Hi all

Having enjoyed using the free Kore Player with Renoise, and having not bought any new gear all year, I decided to treat myself to NI’s Kore 2 today.

Have only had this evening to play with it but so far, so good. Having the main parameters automatically assigned to the knobs/buttons for each sound is already speeding up my workflow. And the sound morphing function is great fun! :D

I can see some interesting live performance possibilities with Renoise and Kore. Because you can very swiftly switch between the sounds in a track and tweak them on the fly, you could have ever changing/evolving tracks… and the included sounds are pretty fantastic on the whole.

All in all I’m quite pleased so far. Anyone else using Kore with Renoise???

Should also add that I used the Kore Soundpack discount voucher you get with Kore to buy the North Indian Soundpack. Only about 30 additional sounds, but they are top, top quality ethnic instruments.

…although, as others will agree, not being able to use the Kore controller to write automation into Renoise is a real shame!
