Afraid that due to a lot of leaching and people linking to mixes on squatjuice from a lot of these mix databass sites/blogs direct linking doesn’t work a lot of the time, so you might have to copy and paste the link, or go to http://www.squatjuice.com/mp3/kaza and click on ‘fetch’ for ‘Kazakore - Descent into Madness’
Let me know what you think of the track.
coughThis was done before I decided to concetrate more on trying to use free (or at least affordable to me) plug-ins, so there are some bits used I guess I shouldn’t of cough[SQL]
Cheers for teh comment, I didn’ think anybody was going to bother
Have had mixed responses for using the tom. I personally think it quit works myself. There are a couple of clicks which shouldn’t be there, like when it comes in after the breakdown, which I need to try and work our of it. Also that version is a bit over compression (limited) so I need to soften it a bit and master it propperly…
Wow! Amazing to get such praise, especially from somebody who’s tracks I have definately noted from the ones I’ve listened to on here. Longer you say? Hmmm… Maybe at some point, very busy with things at the mo and haven’t even managed to do an attempt for the winter comp
Got a few other bits and bobs I want to tighten up and will be up here at some point
Cheers guys. There’s only a drum part and the bass/lead and a load of effects. Mostly Buffer Override, which I just love! Will haveto get another few bits up for you at some point, but right now I’ve got to spend a bit of time mastering tracks for a CD (not mine mostly though…)
There is no what I would call a lead. There is only drums, bass and a load of effects. I assume you mean the Junglist bassline though.
If you want the rns for remixing purposes…
There are a few pay-for plug-ins in there. Junglist could quite easily be replaced with a patch on Superwave P8. There’s the old Waldorf D-Pole filter, which I always quite liked but has been discontinued now (please somebody suggest a replacement for this, preferabley free.) Think there’s also the Waves L2 on the output. Pretty sure the rest of it is pretty standard, or at least free. Maybe a couple of other little bits…
