I think this would be a really nice feature, to still have the color coding (like pitch values/effects in orange, delay in blue, volume in green etc…) on the cursor line, and on the “playback indicator” (green background) line.
So, as a suggestion - could these items be added to the ones available in the theme/color settings? There’s already those for row-highlight and select, why not add them all =) it would make a kind of long list, but it would be really worth it imho.
