Perhaps this kind of feature could be added into the sample editor…
For those of us who haven’t quite woken up yet and don’t understand what you mean, could you explain this a little bit further?
Maybe he means some sort of Mix to mono which just discards one stereo channel instead of mixing both together?

For some reason I was thinking it might be related to the selection you have in the waveform editor or something like that.
Anyway, just shows that it’s always best to be totally clear with your suggestions around here!

I’m using the Moneo plugin at the moment but it would be nice to be able to do the job in the sample editor.

Mono [L]
Mono [R]
Mono (Mix)
Stereo
