Keep Phrase when changing intruments

Maybe this has been answered before but I couldn’t find it with search.

How does one change the instrument and keep the phrase editor sequence intact.
As far as I can see you must manually enter the new instrument into the key zones as the phrase is attached to the instrument independent of the track being used.

I’m not shure what you mean with the key zones part, but you can save a phrase preset located at the upper right of the phrase editor. You can now open a new instrument and select your phrase preset in the drop down menu.
