I was just thinking today how absolutely awesome it would be to have keyswitching in the new sampler. Meaning, assign keys to do certain tasks, such as turn on a phrase for a key range, or switch to a certain effects chain etc. Like how for example key switching is done in orchestral libraries to change articulations, or like in the plogue chiptunes plugin that lets you change waveforms.
For example, lets say you have a multisample xrni, and the samples happen to sound cool backwards. You could have phrase that just plays whatever you’re playing but with 0b00, and have a keyswitch to turn it on when you want it. Or in similar fashion set up vibrato’s and tremolo’s.
