So aparently theres a test in this months FM, where they line up a bunch of laptops to see which is best for audiophiles in heat. Since I need a new laptop + been ripping the net for info which type I should buy, I’d like to see the results, but the mag isn’t out here in Holland till the end of august
Could someone lurking in the UK with the mag post (scan?) the results?
im my experience, FM leaves a lot to be desired when one is after a laptop for a specific purpose
What I mean to say is, they’ll test pro tools, cubase and logic (on apples, since they bought it) as well as commercial vsts and so on, but you can bet your left leg they won’t test Renoise, nor any of the great-but-lesser-known plugins and audio utilities that are freely available.
