This is the re-creation of the movie soundtrack ‘Mariachi Serenade’, by Leo Brouwer and Alfonso Arau, for the movie ‘A Walk In The Clouds’ by Alfonso Arau. The song is performed by a trio of guitar, violin and accordion as a waltz serenade in the movie, accompanied by vocals. I was so impressed by this wonderful and emotional serenade in the movie that I decided to rebuild a personal version of it right after.

The mastering of this track is done by Mr. Mark Dollin, whose work I highly appreciate here again. The vocals are done by myself, and I really apologize for my terrible Spanish accent! :)

Fully done in Renoise.

Comments are appreciated indeed.

I grew to like this song a lot! And I must have played it nearly 100 times now :P Never grated on me, and it’s happiness got stuck in my head regularly.

Nice one. Let’s hope you can do some good stuff with fresher sounding instruments ;)

now thats something unusual new… whats good! :)

I never heard something like this made in renoise!!

very cool song!

must have been quite a challenge to sing in spanish for you :)

but you have put a mix of joy and emotion in the voice which is quite mediterranean :)

Thanks for all your kind comments. :) I’m really glad you liked it.

Yes, I know how much I bothered you on this song ;) Thanks again for the big help :) I learned much collaborating with you.

Perhaps it’s because no renoise user makes such a bad song!! And sings so terribly I might add! :D

Yes, it was quite a challenge, and I admit that I almost lost it! I’m really glad you liked the vocals Itty, your words are oracles to me :)

Amoooooor… si me llamas, amooooooor :)

This is is great :D :D :D

You say it was a challenge to sing in spanish but I’m sure that recording this song has been really funny. Except a couple of words, the fact is that your spanish sounds pretty correct.

I think I’ve listen to your song 6 times while reading the renoise forums threads.

Wow! Thanks Anhelido! It was so gratifying to hear this :) I’m really happy you like it.

I was so impressed of your vocals right the first time I heard this song.
Great, great voice. Hope to hear more songs with your vocals in future.

Thanks dear Gilli for your comment. :) I think you are exaggerating about my voice, I’m not a good singer.

BTW, I’ll have a surprise for you in a few days. ;)
